Volunteer
St. Patrick’s Residence Nursing and Rehabilitation has a strong volunteer base of 250+, who come to our home daily, weekly, monthly or for special events. The volunteers of St. Patrick's are a vital part of the work we do in helping the Carmelite Sisters care for the Aged and Infirm. Volunteers are part of the Service Family, joining the Sisters, staff, the Guild and family members to bring God’s love to the Aged. We work together towards one goal, as is stated in the Mission Statement of the Carmelite Sisters, “to clasp the hand of the Aged and give meaning to the autumn of life.”
"My mother was a resident and it truly became 'Mom's House.' The love and support she received, as well as we her family did, made all the difference. It helped all of us to adjust to such a life change. The Difference is Love. I have continued to volunteer here because I could never repay them for all they did for her and us."
– Regina M.
