Grandparent's Day

The Residents of St. Patrick's will be hosting a Grandparent's Day celebration for all of their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Many activities are planned for the residents and children to enjoy together. Entertainment includes a magic show by John Measner at 2:00 p.m. and at 3:15 p.m. the popular "Dunk-A-Nun" Contest will take place. Two of our Sisters will be donning their scuba gear and swim fins in the dunk tank. In addition to the entertainment, guests will enjoy games, face painting, a clown and even make their own Grandparent's Day cards. Refreshments will include hot dogs, chips, lemonade, popcorn, cotton candy and other snacks.

The Gold Key Gala

St. Patrick's Residence and the Guild of St. Patrick's will be hosting their 7th Annual Gold Key Gala. The Gala is a fun event consisting of cocktails, food serving stations and live and silent auctions. The proceeds from this year's event will be used to help the Sisters create a therapeutic, peaceful rooftop garden on our second floor. The garden will utilize existing space and will feature a walking path, pergola and fountain, as well as ornamental vegetation and benches. The garden will be a refreshing outdoor place for our residents to enjoy activities, read a book or visit with their families.
